However, these four fine St Modwen cycling machines will be winding their way due north over 10 gruelling, long days in September in order to complete the greatest personal challenge of their lives... and raise significant funds for their four nominated charities in the process.
Now that’s where you come in! You will know at least one - if not all - of these determined fitness freaks rather well. They will personally assure you that they would give anything right now for a weekend in front of the telly or a complete ‘let your hair down’ party session, but that would affect the equilibrium of their intense training schedules and finely tuned physiques. Of course they want boundless amounts of sympathy and support from all their friends, family and colleagues, but what they also want is your money. What price do you put on the luxury of not having to take part?!
This is not a challenge to be taken lightly; it is a six month commitment to sacrifice life as they know it for a high-maintenance love affair with their bikes. This website will enable you to indulge in their relentless training schedules and the maverick tips and techniques they will be putting to the test to conquer the pain and keep on pedalling... only faster.
While the trick to cycling is most definitely to keep pedalling, the ability to smile through the pain can only be achieved when you can see the donation total rising by the day and know what a difference that will make to the four nominated charities.
A visit on this website is not about freewheeling, it’s about donating and supporting... you know what to do next!
